Sonnet began in Prior Lake in 2006 with the mission of educating children through the Montessori philosophy and providing a safe and nurturing environment.  Most of our students come through referrals by Sonnet alumni or current families who have been delighted with the academic level their children achieve when they graduate from Sonnet.  From our beginning we worked closely with the local schools, principals and superintendents to prepare our children for a smooth transition into public and parochial environments beyond Kindergarten.
