     If so, "School of India for Languages and Culture," commonly known as SILC is the place for you! Take the opportunity to learn of the highly evolved thoughts from India including historical events, festivals, games, food, art, dance, and music!  Make connections to the broad Indian community in Minnesota.

    
      SILC strives to develop well-informed individuals in a non religious setting.  SILC plays a pivotal role in bridging the cultural gap and enhancing mutual understanding between cultures which are vital for strengthening ties between nations.

SCHEDULE

Regular School

Held every Saturday, after Labor Day, September through May!

10:00am to 10:05am -Invocation
10:05am to 10:45am -Language
10:45am to 11:00am -Recess
11:00am to 11:45am –Social Studies

11:45am to 12:30pm -Electives

Pre-School

11:30-12:30pm – Alternate weeks


CURRICULUM

Established programs ranging from pre-school to advanced languages and culture classes including electives for students of all ages.

- Nepali


ELECTIVES currently offered:
- Yoga

- Dances
- Cooking
- Art

PREREQUISITES:

- Age limit: 3-5 for Preschool and 6+ for regular school

-Be willing to learn an Indian language

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP (Yes; That is for the whole year; and There are no extra fees):

!$75 for Preschool students
!$125 for one student, $235 for two, and   $345 for 3 students
!$50 for just one language or an elective
