Description:
North South Foundation gives 225 scholarships annually to poor but merit college bound students in India. Given 1600 scholarships since 1989. In US organizes Educational contests, like Spelling Bee, Vocabulary Contests and Brain Bee for children of Indian origin in 35 centers thruout US. Regional winners compete for scholarship awards of $1000, $500 & $250. 2002 National Finals were orgnized at MIT, Cambridge, MA during August, 2002.
